You’re absolutely onto something, and that’s why canceled Netflix. I can read and write more now. Good TV exists, but finding it is time-consuming and quite frankly not worth it.
I saw some Friends episodes the year my husband had two knee surgeries and an unrelated broken leg but I don’t think I ever saw one while it was ongoing. I saw almost zero 90s TV because I was busy raising kids. I don’t think I missed much and I want to get back to mostly ignoring TV.
