Your experience is different than that of most people. Not better, necessarily, not worse. I think I have that type of marriage now, but I was married to the father of my children for 15 years and I’ve had so many boyfriends. I experienced a lot of fun but deep heartache, too. It doesn’t matter which way is “better” because we don’t get to choose!
