Yes. You back up everything I say about work!

But it is work. And it has worth. The work, if done right, will outlast me. It helps a 146-year-old house see another century. It creates a home for our family, and hopefully a home for other families to come. To me, it seems like a valuable endeavour yet it does not pay me. I could, I suppose, attempt to monetise the task itself but it’s difficult enough to do the job I already have, let alone add another.
