Yes, those people are rich, in my mind, and yes, they usually did well at least in part because their families did. Look at their families of origin. Did they work multiple jobs in college and still get buried in loans? Did their parents help them take an unpaid internship? Did their parents know someone who was able to give them a leg up on their first job?
