That’s like saying if my mother had not died young, my dad would not have had his happy marriage with his second wife.
Bad things happen and if you’re lucky, good things will also sometimes happen.
I’m grateful for the marriage I have with Harrie, but that divorce hurt like fuck and put my kids through some very tough times. The negative legacy continues today in many ways. There’s still stuff we have to deal with.
