Why do you think it’s bullshit?

I’m convinced that some parents don’t want their kids to move away not because they’ll miss them and because they want to see their grandchildren more often. Not because they love family and family comes first. This is what people say, but it’s often manipulative bullshit.

I’m close to my kids. Of course I’d miss them if one of us moved far away! How is that hard for you to believe?
