When I was a newspaper editor, and was striving to put out a good paper I was proud of even as they cut and cut and cut our staff and budget, I once worked from 5 a.m. to 3 a.m., taking only bathroom breaks. I just could not get all the damned work done, and I was trying SO hard. It was ridiculous.
