When I had my first child in 1989, I was right in the middle of the bread-baking, herb-growing, organic whole foods-eating, breastfeeding, natural childbirthing moms. The ones I’m still in touch with are liberal or liberal-ish and have/had careers. I am left wondering— did some of those moms have secret ugly beliefs? Or has this movement changed so much?
