Well, since he's a citizen of the EU, we wouldn't have any legal difficulties. However, he has a job here, which we depend on. My son would probably be game to go, but my daughter has two young children and she shares custody with her ex. That's the rub.

I'd have moved to the Netherlands to marry my spouse except my kids were minors and I couldn't have taken them out of the country away from their dad.

Regardless, my husband still has many close ties there, and I have no doubt some family members would take us in and help us resettle if we needed to. I wanna take EVERYONE with me. You can't do that, of course.
