We made a major splurge a few months ago and bought an espresso machine. We have gotten so. much enjoyment out of it -- particularly my husband, who misses so much about Europe. We don't have a dishwasher or a clothes drier, but we have an espresso maker! That's how much of a priority we made it -- partly because we can't afford to go back to Europe anytime soon. This brings a tiny taste of Europe to my husband.
