But I'd never live in an apartment. I live where few people have a security system and most people don't even lock their doors. I've never had a security system in my life and can't imagine living that way. And I like being able to have a yard for my dogs to run around and where we can build a fire, sit around the fishpond, grow things, etc. I can remodel in any way that I want. Plus, I cannot imagine paying a fortune for rent every month and never, ever being rent-free. I lived in an apartment complex once for six months. It was awful and we got out of there as soon as we could. Never again! I am about a year or maybe two from having my cheap big house all paid off. I cannot wait.
