This resonates more with me than anything I've ever read on this platform before.

I know I'm a good writer. I know I was a good journalist. I've thrown myself into so many different kinds of writing since then: Genre novels, literary novels, magazine work, SEO, copywriting, radio and video scripts, Medium and more.

I really don't know if I will ever make a good living at any of these things. Friends tell me of course I will if I stick with it! I tell them I don't know if it's going to happen. They won't hear of this "negativity." Well, it isn't negativity. It's realism.
