This is so well done.
I grew up in a white community where there was discrimination against Black people, but none of us knew any Jewish people. To this day I don’t know how anyone can supposedly tell someone’s Jewish ancestry. A reporter I’d known for years said he didn’t celebrate Christmas “of course” and I surmised he must be Jewish and that he must have thought I knew that. Still don’t know how I would have known without being told.
