This is my only quibble: Why question women who prefer to stay home to parent but encourage men to do so? I completely agree parenting works better with one parent home for a while. I completely agree that having one person run the household allows the other one to focus on work. But after the first year or so (when the mom is recovering from birth and is nursing), either parent can fill either role, as the two choose.
