This is hard to read even for me — an older straight cis woman. I am at a loss as to how to respond. You read a really comprehensive piece by someone knowledgeable and essentially replied, “Well, I don’t know much about this, but I have some opinions based on nothing really that are contrary to the things you say. I mean I know you quoted authorities and studies and I only have my opinions, but I still think I’m probably right.” Do better, please. Trans folks just want to live their lives. Why can’t we let them?
