There’s quite a lot to think about there — that perhaps this generation’s ability to not enslave themselves has something to do with their inability to afford housing/kids. Corporate America squeezed people so hard that they shrugged and dropped out?
Might be some parallels to dating, too. Women no longer care to subjugate themselves to shitty men.
