The worst thing in the world (OK, not literally) is people claiming that if something's worth doing, it's worth doing right. No, sometimes it's enough to just get it done however you can. My husband is an all-or-nothing kind of guy. We were working on a gardening project right after we got married and he wanted to take it to what my children and I felt were extremes (sifting the dirt in the newly prepared garden bed? Seriously?!?) and I said to him, "Your problem is you have married into a family of half-assers. We aren't sifting dirt. It's dirt. It's fine."
