The reason older women are happier single is that older men are often complete shits who only want younger women. Therefore, older women have found ways to have full lives that don't involve dealing with entitled, difficult men.

Younger women who date older men are not doing it (usually) because they are attracted to old men. They date the men for money.

This is my observation. I'm lucky to have married a good guy about my age.
