The definitions are different for everyone! Years ago, I worked with a woman who said she could not afford dental care, yet she spent a fortune on cable and cigarettes. I said I couldn't afford cable, but I actually COULD have if that had been my priority. Many other things, like raising my kids who were still at home at the time, were my priority.
