Horrifying!

David Sedaris wrote that at his art school, they would never, ever hint you had no talent as long as you kept the checks coming.

I myself went to Eastern Illinois University. I think almost anybody could get in as long as you had halfway reasonable grades and scores. I just looked it up -- acceptance rate of 68 percent. But I got a great education there, because I was hungry to learn and I made the most of every opportunity. In most cases, you'll get out of college what you put into it.
