The average US household income is much lower than that.

There are parts of Appalachia that have household incomes far under $50,000 a year. Like, I’m talking that some families live on as little as $20,000 per year. That’s crazy low.

The average US household income is much lower than that. I don’t consider $50K a low amount — that’s a lot more than I’ve ever made as a college grad!
