That's an EXCELLENT idea. I did not deal with this directly, but an extended family member's experiences were absolutely maddening. The wife was worn to a frazzle trying to care for her husband, and simply could not do it any longer, so she placed him in a nursing home, which cost a mint. She had insurance that helped, but they didn't take good care of him. He needed to be spoon-fed, but they just let him go hungry if he didn't feed himself. They didn't take him to the restroom, so he'd soil himself. They didn't help him from his recliner to his bed, so he'd sleep there, soaked in urine. It was a crime. For this, she paid close to $7000 per month! She or a family member had to be there for most of the day or they would NOT take care of him, and the director NEVER had time to talk to anybody. The industry is evil. And every nursing home appears to be making no money, but that's because the same people who "lose" money on the nursing home make money on their separate laundry business and food service business and medical business etc. THOSE companies are where they make their money. It's disgusting.
