Most people honestly don’t know the difference between passable, just ok, pretty good, excellent and extraordinary — or what it takes to reach each level. They’d be fine with any level and don’t know why you’d continue fussing. Of course, I’m the same with plenty of things I’m not very familiar with, like fine wine.
