You write about infertility, so I am assuming that means you’d like to be a father. Let me let you in on a little secret: It is not 1950 anymore. Men are expected to contribute to caring for their children. Of course men should come to baby showers! Why on Earth should this be a gendered event? Both men and women can care for a baby. Other than breastfeeding, Dad can contribute equally.
