Talk to some spouses and children and you’ll see the whole story. I stand by what I said: People who know they are trans should not marry without disclosing this. The story is clear about the person knowing they were at the very least highly ambivalent. I get that she meant well. I get that she didn’t mean to cause pain.
I don’t think I’ve ever read a story about the spouse and kids and what they face. But that’s part of the story, too.
