So my son — 31 — says all he finds on dating apps are fakes. Like it says she’s a doctor, but also says she has only a two-year degree. He says he seldom hears anything back. He tried Bumble but women would only send an empty message to start. Generally women haven’t bothered to fill out their profiles. As a result, he’s given up, even though he’d love to settle down. He’s not interested in dating casually — he wants a partner. He’s nice-looking, smart and has a good job, but is an introvert who just likes to read and play video games. I have no idea what to tell him. I know plenty of women would love a solid guy like him, but he will never meet any of them.
