Plus — and I know you disagree with me on this — there are some very good self-published books that usually aren’t considered at all, but readers who find them do enjoy them. I look at the recommendations made by reviewers, but more and more I find books serendipitously. In the reviews of my novel, many stated they found me on this platform. That may well be the future.
