People like me don't give a damn what's happening to vehicles and apparel. In my case, it's food, utilities and gas. Well, and medical: All the things we have little choice but to keep buying no matter what inflation does. I'm lucky enough to have an inexpensive house I bought long ago, so the shelter costs don't matter to me or people like me. Younger people, of course, are hurt by that a great deal.
