Oh. My. God. You believe in American Exceptionalism? That's insane. You think the U.S. has "affordable" education? Seriously? I'm married to a European and I can tell you college is much cheaper there. In addition, every European I know has a far better life. The only reason I don't live there right now is that I had minor children at the time I married my husband, and I could not take them out of the country.

You should get out of your bubble.
