Oh, FFS. Having babies isn't a luxury. And everybody has to live somewhere. Do you advocate the non-rich living in tents, or what? Do you really think people are better off renting than buying? That's BS. I'm close to paying off my house, and having a paid-off house is a significant part of what will enable me to survive my old age. I wouldn't be able to afford to rent in most places, anyway.
I want you to think very carefully about this: Why do you blame the individuals instead of the system? If just a few individuals were struggling, I'd agree they were the problem. But MOST people are struggling. It isn't that most people are fuck-ups. You can't really believe that.
Not everyone is meant to be/wants to be a business owner, believe it or not. And if everyone was, who do you think would fill your jobs? Your version of how things should be isn't workable. The system is completely messed up when millions of hard-working, intelligent, educated people are struggling.
