Obviously, this is a topic I appreciate. Here's where we part ways: In my view, most people will need to work their asses off AND never fully retire. You're arguing that people should work less and then never fully retire. The missing bit is figuring out how to afford to work less. And before you tell me to stop buying lattes or going out to eat regularly or driving new cars or spending money on clothes or taking vacations or whatever -- we already live super simply.
