Nope. Hauled my kids around in a Chevette for years, and then a Neon. No problem.

… couple can get around on bicycles or a decades old beater. A soon as the kids reach school age, it becomes a minivan or SUV, that I think is baked into female genes. (Don’t chide me about pickups. I think it’s part of the male plumage.)
