None of this applies to mothers and little of it applies to any woman. I can think of many vital calls I needed to respond to. I am also glad I answered the recent weekday call from my dad telling me my sister died. You cannot just nope out unless someone else is taking care of your stuff for you (like your wife.) Your work is not the only important thing in life. Instead, ask people to respect your work hours.
