No, you didn’t get a “better education” through working than school, unless you paid no attention in class. You learned some life lessons, sure. I’d rather see kids’ needs for clothing, food and shelter met by their parents/society. They shouldn’t be working until they are 16ish. I worked way too much as a kid and it is unfortunate.
