My substack is small and new but my open rate is around 60 percent, which I take as a good sign. Mine comes out at 6 a.m. Thursdays, a time I chose fairly randomly, but maybe I beat the crowd. I plan to add a paid Tuesday option later if there’s enough interest.

I can’t resist asking about your toddler child’s health. That’s a lot of sickness, and I hope everything is ok. If your child is at a daycare center, is there a different solution? Family, nanny, small in-home center?
