My family actually did have a kid living with us for a year or two. The rest of the family had moved to a different school district, and the kid didn't want to change schools for his senior year. But of course, that wasn't a baby. I will add, however, that the family declined to pay for any of the kid's expenses whatsoever. It was all on us. He was a good kid and we made it work.
