Lol. It's mathematically impossible for most people to save $1M. How much do you think most people make, anyway? I've never earned an extra $10,000 per year in my life. Saving $10,000 per year would mean not being able to afford a place to live. The most I ever made in my life was $40K, and that was for a limited time. That kind of job is not open to people like me anymore. It's strictly freelance for people in my situation.

I will never retire. I'll have my $1,500 per month in S.S., and I'll add to that by working as much as I'm able. I'm married, but if one of us dies, the other is screwed.
