Learned on my first day as acting editor to pretend I had a reason for every decision. Sometimes things were arbitrary. Sometimes I didn’t have enough info to make the right choice, but I made it and stood by it.
But this is stupidity, forced on us by mob-like people. It’s not how I operate at home.
