It’s worth noting that no other animal ingests the breastmilk of another. I nursed my kids full-term and began to feel weird about drinking something from an animal that was so much like the stuff my body was producing. So I don’t drink milk but I do eat some cheese, yogurt etc. I’d give up dairy if it were a bit easier to do so.
Also, my daughter (an adult now) did give up dairy, and she sometimes makes her own dairy alternatives.
