It’s sad that racists ruined this. Moms very frequently like to call their kids by pet names. “Goose” is one my daughter frequently called her daughter, as in “silly goose.” I called my kids “squirmy wormies” and many more silly things. My granddaughter liked to get in all fours and meow and be treated as a cat or dog. Monkeys are cute the way they cavort. I never thought of comparing a child to a monkey as racist. It never even occurred to me. I’m sorry!
