It appears you expected everyone to welcome you here and now you’re upset that didn’t happen. I’ve been a writer my whole life, but that did not mean I immediately began raking it in here. There’s a learning curve, even if you’ve been doing this professionally for decades. You posted a rude comment on something I wrote recently— so rude I was curious to see who would write such a thing. And here you are, thrashing out at the world and angry with this platform!
I like it here. I do well here. Try being a wee bit nicer and taking some time to learn the ropes and you might enjoy more. Or don’t — no skin off my nose either way.
I have talked at least a dozen experienced, professional writers into joining me here. It’s a pretty good platform — not perfect, but I prefer it over Substack, where I also write.
