Islands, bunkers, gated communities, bugout nooks and homesteads are out of my reach. My best plan is to build my community and offer my knowledge of basic skills. I could walk to the Illinois River for water, and I have enough beans and rice to hold me for a bit. I'm still trying to find a good grain grinder. Seems to be unavailable for now.
