Is it really that bad? Yikes! We always had some little garden and the paternal grandparents had a huge one. I always made our food from scratch so my kids know how bread, yogurt, cheese etc are made. I’ve seen a single pig butchered and processed. Lots of chickens. Countless squirrels and even rabbits. My kids and grandkids have not seen that, though.
