That series will be important in my life, because I need to have an income for my ‘older age.’ My actual social security is $116 from the States and £99 from the UK. Unfortunately, this is not enough to live on. So I write in order to earn a living. As I couldn’t write ‘content’ without a guilty conscience, and as I prefer not to have the burden of guilt, I rely on sites like Medium, KDP, Smashwords, Vocal Media, etc. When writers talk about ‘content,’ they mean commercial content that advocates companies or products. I also rely heavily on my patrons who support me on Ko-fi and Patreon. Without those patrons and without support from my readers, well, income from Medium would pay one third of my rent in Ireland.
