I'm married to a Dutch man, but we live in the U.S. This is a country of poor people that happens to also contain some extremely rich people. Since we aren't extremely rich, we would be far better off in Europe. We chose this country because when we married, I had minor children I could not have taken out of the country. I wish it were otherwise.
