I’m free now, but I highly recommend any woman with painful periods start taking ibuprofen the day before the period is expected. It truly helps because it’s not just a painkiller but a prostaglandin inhibitor. Also, this wasn’t a known option in time to benefit me, but you can take birth control pills continuously with no period break. You need never menstruate unless you want to conceive. Your doctor should tell you these things but may not.
