I'm curious about whether mothers delivering right now are more likely to nurse/more likely to work through problems if any. I have not seen this reported.
Obviously, someone who had already been bottle feeding when the shortage started can't just turn the milk flow back on, but for those who had planned to use formula, I do wonder if they're changing their minds and opting to nurse at least for a while.
I nursed my kids (long since grown) and did a lot of lactation support and counseling back in the day, so I'm very interested in this topic.
