I resisted adding the tipping feature on Medium for a long time, but a couple of months ago I did put it on there and I'm surprised at how many people do tip. One person has an automatic monthly tip set up, and I didn't even know that was a thing.

I never push for a tip. It's there and people can click past it if they want. There's never any pressure.
