I’m a writer, not a designer. I used to lay out a newspaper with Quark but never learned InDesign — eventually I had a staff of graphic artists who did that, while I concentrated on the writing and editing. The problem is everyone is supposed to be able to do everything, and most of us are only good at one part of it.
