I'm a working class woman living in a poorer area. We have zero gentrification going on here. Few people with options choose to live in small towns. However, where else can a writer on a very tight budget have a big Victorian house in a safe and walkable neighborhood, a nice yard with a fishpond and an attic with a recording studio in it?
